| 1: A two-day school focusing
on hand scraping, and finishing hand-scraped or distressed flooring. Also
included in this school is custom installation and specialty finishing
techniques. This class is for contractors looking to take their business to
the “next level” of custom installations and high-end finishing.
2. A one-day finishing school. Topics and
demonstrations on the application of both water- and oil-based finishes,
staining floors with buffers, dying applications, recoating and the use of
the ty-coat system. This is an excellent class for new crews and flooring
professionals who want to refresh their skills.
3: A two-day sand and finish school.
Includes all the training listed in class #2, but the second day will focus
primarily on the operating equipment you use, including field maintenance
and repair of floor sanders and buffers. This two-day school can save you
money on your equipment by showing you how to troubleshoot and maintain your
equipment.
4: A three-day complete concepts school
covering both class #2 and #3 with an extra day added for the high-end work
of proper centerlining, floor layout for installing borders and medallions,
glue applications over concrete, moisture testing of sub-floors and wood.
The third day of the class is designed more toward experienced flooring
professionals who are looking to keep call-backs to a minimum while creating
hardwood flooring works of art. |
