At Bona we are proud of our history. Back in 1894, the 26-year old Wilhelm Edner opened
a small grocery shop in Malmö where he sold coffee. The business went well and during the 1910s floor wax came into the picture - a completely new product to the Swedish market.
     Within five years, floor polish, mop oil, dry floor cleaner, waxing equipment and other floor care products had been added to the range. And 80 years later we have developed into an international world leading company producing and selling a total solution for wooden floor treatment. We stick to what we are, and what we do best.

The Atomic DCS® has proven to be the ultimate in power and effectiveness for dust containment; now the Atomic® 110 can go wherever you need it. Easy to transport on its built-in dolly, the Atomic 110 utilizes Bona's innovative cyclonic separation system with 110v/20 amp motors. The Atomic® 110’s brushless vacuum motors are more efficient, more powerful, last longer and require less maintenance than brush motors. These powerful motors can run two machines at the same time: a “big sander machine” and an edger, two edgers, two buffers or other combinations.

Mounted on a truck or trailer, the separate dust collector is powered by a 27-HP water-cooled Kawasaki engine. A 2-inch hose connects the sander, edger and buffer to the vacuum system located in a truck or trailer. The innovative concept of the Atomic system, having a 27-HP engine outside of the customer's home significantly increases airflow.
